The staff are gearing up for another busy month here at TDM and we have so much to report! First, we'd like to thank all members who partook in the Halloween celebrations during the month on the forums, whether it be by competition in challenges, games or the posting in the discussion threads, it was great to have you around for the spooky season, and we hope to see you there in time for TDMs fourth Halloween party! With the end of October brings about one thing... NANOSHIP09!!! The staff are super excited about this and have put in so much work behind the scenes (... particularly by one admin who would prefer to remain nameless... but likes hugs and bovines of the deceased variety...) to bring about a challenge that is so big, it not only spilled over into a two month event, but required it's very own website to contain all the information surrounding it! If that isn't epic and entertaining for all members of this site, the staff will eat the Sorting Hat! However, just because the wonderful NaNoShip challenge has hit TDM for the second year running doesn't mean we get to forget about all the other goodness found throughout the month of November, such as artist promotions, the monthly site awards and of course, school spirit brimming on the point of insanity! Both the forum and archive staff have worked together to create a special Halloween writing challenge in celebration of Halloween to take place throughout October, where it is your duty to write the most chilling ghost story based on all the challenge information here! Good luck to all who enter, and be sure to write with the lights on! In addition to our fun writing challenge, the staff have worked very hard this month to bring you lots of fun activities to celebrate Halloween in our new Happy Halloween forum! Not only will you find writing challenges, but fun art challenges, games and discussion threads, and you can add your own threads too! Have fun celebrating Halloween on TDM in style! We hope you enjoy all these wonderful new changes that have been made to the main website, and rest assured, there will be many, many more to come in the next couple of weeks. There are a few things to notify you all about that you might find interesting, and they are as follows: We're on the look out for more validators. If you're interested, please read the relevant information here. We're on the look out for a moderator for Hogwarts on the forums, which will also lead to a full time job there as a super moderator.
