It’s that time of year again when the staff ask the damn near impossible from you. Where legends are made and records can be broken. Where long hours are spent grinding fingers to the bone for the glory of being made a champion. To put it simply, ladies and gents, it’s NaNoShip time!
What is the NaNoShip?
The NaNoShip challenge is a unique writing challenge, exclusively found upon The Dark Mark. It combines two wonderful challenges—the infamous National Novel Writing Month challenge, more commonly referred to as NaNoWriMo, with TDM’s very own historic BattleShip Challenge!
This challenge is not for the faint of heart—it’s a gruelling ride for all entrants, staff and readers alike. It’s designed to be hard, but that’s what a challenge is in the end, and all the rewards at the finish line are well worth the hard work to get there.
The NaNoShip challenge is a historical aspect of The Dark Mark, and a tradition we like to uphold each and every year. We hope to see all of you uphold this wonderful, invigorating and entertaining challenge for 2009, and don’t be afraid to rock the boat!
